DEAP (Dependency & Emotional Attachment Programme) is a community rehabilitation programme. This therapeutic based approach is delivered by a CBT Counsellor.
Clients who are abstinent from alcohol and illicit substances would greatly benefit from DEAP.
A medically managed reduction regime is in place along with a care plan, with prescriptions reduced to nil (zero) within 3 weeks of starting the programme.
Mandatory drug/alcohol testing is daily, with Acamprosate/Naltrexone as exceptions.
DEAP comprises of 3 counsellor led sessions a week, plus a peer led session, “Friday Recovery Group”.
